Purakkal kole area is a fertile land in Thrissur district of Kerala, where pady is cultivated. The entire land is slightly below the sea level and only four months can be utilized for cultivation. Puzhakkal kole fest is an initiative under the leadership of Xavier chittilappilly, the MLA of Wadakkaancherry and the team includes farmers, social and cultural activities of Adat grama panchayat.
